Lee’s Summit Chamber Oktoberfest

Coming up on September 24 and lasting until September 26 is the Lee’s Summit Chamber Oktoberfest. Every year, more than 70,000 people make an appearance at this exciting event that is held in historic downtown Lee’s Summit.

On Friday and Saturday, guests will enjoy access to two different stages featuring live entertainment along with a Biergarten, dancing, and authentic German meals. Although our winery is not family-friendly, this event offers free children’s activities, a carnival, and more. On Sunday, only the carnival is active. There are no booths, vendors, or live entertainment.

45^th Annual Fall Festival of Arts, Crafts & Music

On Saturday, October 2 through Sunday, October 3 is the 45^th Annual Fall Festival of Arts, Crafts & Music. Many people flock to this event every year to enjoy everything involved with the harvest season. At this festival, musicians, crafters, artisans, and historic interpreters work hard to bring you back in time so you can experience harvest season.

At the festival, you can take a ride in a covered wagon, play a game from the 19^th century, watch sorghum be made, and so much more. The best part about this family-friendly event is the memories that you will be making.

Paranormal Investigation

For those interested in the paranormal, this is one of the most exciting events near Lee’s Summit. Although Missouri Town 1855 is strictly a fictional name and location, it is made up of real artifacts and buildings.

While the town name might not be real, everything else is, and each place comes with its own history behind it. So why not spend the night before Halloween exploring those old historic buildings with trained ghost hunters? We are sure that it’s going to be a night worth remembering!
